Creamy Tuscan Sausage Pasta

1lb Italian hot sausage

½ cup white wine

1 tbsp tomato paste

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

½ tsp mustard powder

½ tsp onion powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup sundried tomatoes

1 ½ cups fresh spinach

4 oz cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

½lb penne

fresh parsley, to garnish

red pepper flakes, to garnish


Throw your sausage into a pan. Once full cooked, remove. Add your garlic, tomato paste and white wine to that same pan and let cook down for about 5 minutes using a spatula to stir. Slowly add in the broth, seasonings and heavy cream! Reduce and let simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Add the sundried tomatoes and cream cheese. Let bubble – but don’t overcook! Reduce to low and begin to stir in the parm, sausage and spinach. Once fully incorporated toss in the pasta. Garnish with red pepper flakes + parsley and enjoy!
