Description
A little spin on my viral caramel apple bark that hit nearly 10 million views back in August 2022. I wanted to make the recipe more of a finger-food to put out on tables for Thanksgiving! So I thought of a recipe my mom used to make…
…a little back story: around the holidays my mom used to make these poppers, but instead of an apple on top she’d sandwich the melted rolo with another pretzel. My brother and I would eat all them before she’d have the chance to serve! Making these with my own little spin had me feeling so nostalgic!
Ingredients
* 2 green apples
* 1 pkg. snyders square pretzels
* 1 pkg. rolo candy
* toothpicks
Instructions
Preheat oven 250F. On a baking sheet, lay out pretzels in a single layer and place a Rolo candy on each pretzel. Put these in the oven for about 3-4 minutes, or until the candy is soft but not melted. Chop the apple in small chunks. Squeeze a little lemon juice on them if you would like to help keep from turning brown. Place one apple on the end of a toothpick and push into one of the Rolo pretzels. Serve immediately and enjoy!
