Frankenstein Rice Krispies

  • Author: Garianne Gagliardi

Ingredients

  •   3/4 cup butter unsalted
  •   210oz bags mini marshmallows
  •   1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  •   green food dye
  •   9 cups rice krispies
  •   1/2 cup melted chocolate, for the hair
  •   chocolate sprinkles, for the hair
  •   candy eyes
  •   black food gel, for the mouth
  •   rolos, for the bolts

Instructions

Line a large casserole dish with parchment paper – set aside.

Melt marshmallows with butter over medium-low heat on stove top. Once fully melted together add in your green food dye until desired color. Pour marshmallow mixture onto Rice Krispies and fold until fully incorporated. Transfer to casserole dish – spread evenly (I use another piece of parchment + press with my hands so nothing sticks). I’Il let the rice krispies sit in the freezer for 20 minutes which helps with cutting, remove and slice into rectangles (whatever size!)

Now you can start decorating! Dip the top of the rectangle into the chocolate for the hair, add chocolate sprinkles for detail and finish off with the rest of the face details. Enjoy
