Witchy Chocolate Bark

  • Author: Garianne Gagliardi

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt your favorite chocolate – I used a mix of Ghirardelli milk and white chocolate. I used milk chocolate as my bark base (try to spread in an even-ish layer, not super thin!). I like to spread mine in a rectangle shape so it’s easier for cutting up later.

2. Next add spoonfuls of my melted white chocolate (half I left white and the other half I colored purple using my oil based food coloring). You can use any colors you like! A Lime green would be really witchy and fun, too.

3. Use a butter knife to drag and swirl your chocolate to blend together to create pretty a pretty design. On top of my bark base I added “witch’s hats” by using an Oreo cookie, placing on top of my bark and adding more melted purple chocolate on top then squishing down an unwrapped Hershey kiss in the center.

4. For the witch’s brooms I cut a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup in half and placed it down on top of my bark base and added a pretzel stick for the broom handle. Then on went the candy witch eyeballs and some gold edible stars and glitter for a magical touch if you want!

5. I allowed my bark to set up completely in the fridge (I left mine in for an hour to make sure it was nice and firm) then cut or snap into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
