Garlic Parm Crinkle Fries

  • Author: Garianne Gagliardi

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crinkle Fries:
Russet Potatoes
Olive oil or Truffle oil
Ice bath

For the Garlic Butter:
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
3 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp oregano
Salt + Pepper to taste

Instructions

Instructions:
1. Rinse and peel the potatoes completely. Cut each potato vertically into rectangular slices, about 1/4 inch thick. Then chop with the crinkle cutter (found on my Amazon shop). Once you have all your fries ready – transfer to ice bath (this helps remove excess starch which allows for crispy, golden fries!)
2. After a few minutes remove and dry French fries completely. Transfer to baking dish and toss in olive oil. Bake at 450 for about 30 minutes – flipping/tossing a couple times.
3. While waiting for French fries in the oven make your garlic butter! Add all ingredients (except fresh parsley) to a small pot over low heat. Set aside once done.
4. Remove crispy fries from the oven and toss in the garlic butter. Add chopped parsley & extra parmesan cheese to the top. Enjoy!
